The 2nd International Postcolonial and Decolonial Meeting (2nd EPD) was planned collectively in order to expand the discussions from the first edition, thinking about concrete actions based on plural epistemologies that promote scientific, technological and innovation contributions linked to knowledge production in line with the postcolonial and decolonial theoretical fields. In this way, we aimed to bring together diverse people who produce transformative knowledge and practices in the field of the Human Sciences and Education, based on the following problem: “What questions and possibilities arise for the production of politically situated knowledge in the search for social equity and the production of plural epistemologies?” Five Roundtables were held, three Contemporary Dialogues (conferences), 19 thematic symposia, ten workshops, the film show Imagens Encruzilhadas, cultural activities, the ÌPÀDÉ music festival, the Poetics of Relationship Exhibition Circuit and a solidarity fair. We reached an audience of 2,000 in person and 50,000 virtually.
