A new path with countless passages opens up, plural like the world, a great ball of yarn in eternal weaving. We invite you to pick up one end and weave your discoveries with us, together with knowledge produced by African, indigenous and Afro-Brazilian artists in a variety of connected materials that seek to encourage a feeling-thinking. Feeling together with the earth, a flow between mind and heart, thinking from our specific geopolitical locations towards a critical and sensitive understanding of the universes we constitute, across borders.
Weaving sensibilities is a project that invites us to know, feel, think, be and transform. Sewing a quilt of multiple and diverse arts, where the artists and their works will certainly affect us in all dimensions of affection. We value the intertextuality of artistic languages and invite everyone to dive into the depth, density and fruitfulness of life and history as manifested in art. As Afro-Brazilian composer, singer, instrumentalist, poet, researcher and teacher Tiganá Santana tells us: Image is not what is visible, image is what you feel, what you can feel. Frequencies.
